Haley will be 9 months old on the 21st this month... it's right around the corner! I haven't been to the doctor since she was last sick (around Christmas) so I have no idea what she weighs but she is definitely getting taller and heavier! She goes to the doctor on Monday for a Well Baby Checkup. She is still eating her baby food very well and we have introduced her to a few finger foods.
She is officially sitting up by herself and she is even starting to crawl around! We are having to baby proof the house since she has been getting into EVERYTHING! She tries so hard to pull herself up... she comes very close to standing but then she sits back down. It was so funny... the other morning I woke up to her talking (through the monitor) so I looked at the baby monitor and she was sitting up in her crib all by herself! That was the first time I have ever seen her do that!

Just last night Trey had put her down for bed... he checked on her on the monitor... there she was sitting up playing with her glow worm! It's just too cute! We officially had to lower the crib the first time we saw her sitting up :) It now takes her twice as long to fall asleep since she is VERY mobile! And she still doesn't like being rocked to sleep! Silly girl!
She is still saying "Dada" all the time! And every time you look at her and say "Mama" she just looks right back and says "Dada!!!". Haley loves to give eskimo kisses, especially when she's sleepy!
I can't believe how much she has changed just within a couple of weeks! It amazes me!
I love being a Mom... it's the best thing in the world. Sacrificing my body, my cherished time alone with my Husband, and time for myself... Haley makes it all worth it and I wouldn't change a thing!
The doctor said we can start feeding her table food with a few exceptions (no honey, peanuts, or strawberries) and of course no cows milk until she is 1...which is 3 months away! Eeek!! Kinda scary it's that close!
