This is going to be a LONG journey..

This past week has been absolutely crazy. I had to miss work on Wednesday because I was feeling so sick. The one medicine I'm taking (Zofran) gets rid of my nausea and makes me have an appetite (but unfortunately makes me really constipated.) I'm supposed to be taking it twice a day but insurance will only cover so many pills a month (12 pills without insurance paying for it costs $50!) so I only use it once a day which keeps me going half way through the work day. This week there have been times where I felt really good, and times where I thought I was gonna die I felt so sick! Mostly those bad times happened in the afternoon, probably the time my medicine wore off. Other than those symptoms, I am really really bloated! For the past couple weeks I haven't been able to sleep on my stomach because it is so sensitive. I haven't gained any weight but am having trouble buttoning my pants so now I just leave them unzipped and unbuttoned and wear that cool invention...the maternity band. It actually makes wearing my pants really comfortable.

Anyway, update on our blueberry, this week it actually has grown a tiny bit to the size of a raspberry. I'm super excited because my first ultrasound is this coming up Thurs and I'll be able to hear its heartbeat! The baby will be 8wks!
