10 Months Old

On Monday Haley turned 10 months old!  She is such a big girl.  I am so blessed to be her Mom.  She still has no teeth yet and  is still not walking... but I know it won't be much longer for both to happen.  Tonight she actually has a low grade fever :( Poor Baby!  I'm thinking she might be teething :)

This week has really been hard for me.  I had been outside all weekend so Sunday night when my nose started getting stuffy I thought it was just my allergies bothering me.  By Wednesday I was starting to think I had a sinus infection so I decided it was time to go to the doctor.  I found out I have bronchitis!! I haven't felt good all week!  I'm so thankful it is Friday so I don't have to care for Haley all by myself.  I'm so glad to have such a helpful and supportive husband.

Trey has been a busy guy at work this week!  He was really looking forward to having our friends over on Saturday to fry some chicken wings but we had to cancel it when we found out I have bronchitis.  We will be taking it easy on Saturday.  On Sunday Trey is going to play golf with his Palpal.  With going to the Zoo, fishing, a concert, and the fishing tournament... he really hasn't had much time to golf.

I'm still enjoying being a stay at home Mom but I may have a job lined up for me this summer!  My mother-in-law will be opening up her own Planet Beach!!  I'm super excited!  Especially because it will close to my house here in Montgomery :)  I will have no reason to complain about a job not being worth my time or gas!

In the meantime I will be planning Haley's 1st Birthday!  I have finally decided on a theme.  Some of you already know but I don't want to spoil it for everyone!  It's gonna be great :)

Well that's all the updates for now!  If Haley gets a tooth coming in soon... you know you'll here about it!

Bye for Now!

Haley's 1st Trip to the Zoo!

We took Haley to the Zoo for the first time today and oh boy she loved it!!  As soon as we got to the Zoo I took Haley for her first ride on the carousel.  Daddy had picked the Panda seat out for Haley so that's what she rode on!  When the carousel started she got so excited! She was smiling the whole time and even laughing!!!

Here's some pics of Mommy & Haley...

I had a blast!

Mommy was having fun with me too!!

After my ride I got to see the giraffes!

Then Mommy fed me lunch!

After lunch Daddy held me and we played for a bit... then we got to see some animals!

And of course Mommy had to find someone to take a family picture!!
Haley loved the otters!
Daddy and Haley at the alligator turtle
I saw so much today I was getting sleepy!

Mommy & Daddy bought me a hat at the gift shop!

I seen so much that I slept for over an hour!
We got to say bye to the giraffes!
We ended the beautiful day with one last ride on the carousel... with Daddy!!

When we got home I had my rice cereal and Mommy & Daddy gave me a bath!

I can't wait for our next trip to the Zoo!

~ Our 9 1/2 Month Update ~

Haley is growing like a weed.  She is crawling around EVERYWHERE and pulling herself up onto everything.  Her favorite place to stand is at the dogs gate.  She loves to talk to Bruiser & Lexi!
I have been teaching her how to clap her hands and to wave bye-bye.  The other day when Trey got home I told Haley "Daddy's Home!". She didn't see him at first but when she did she started clapping her hands and she got the biggest smile on her face. It was the cutest thing ever.  She hasn't quite got the waving bye-bye thing down yet... but she definitely has the clapping down!
Miss Haley still has no teeth... but they say the longer it takes for them to get their teeth... the healthier they will be when she's older.  I'm living proof that that can not be true!! Having a root canal at the age 22 just isn't normal.  Hopefully she doesn't get my hereditary problems when it comes to teeth... or attitude... actually I would say I'm more opinionated more than anything :)

Here is Haley playing with her musical table! She loves it!

This Saturday Trey and I are taking Haley to the Zoo.  A lot of my friends have recently taken their little one's to the Zoo and said they had a blast!  Sunday we are going to Northshore Park for the evening concert with the Mom's group.  I have to say I absolutely love my Mom's group!  Not only does it benefit Haley so she can interact with other kids, but it really benefits me and Trey too!  I have made some pretty good friends!!  Trey will see alot of the husbands that he already knows when we go Sunday so it will be pretty fun to hang out with everyone!  I just hope the weather is good!

The silly things we try on our children just because we can!

What in the heck does Daddy have in his mouth??

I will update again with Zoo pictures soon!
Until next time...
