I started nesting this weekend! I was looking at my pregnancy app and it said 10 weeks and 4 days until arrival! That sounds so soon, and really it could be less than 10 weeks if my body decides to say otherwise. I had Haley at 37 weeks. I'm hoping I can make it until my scheduled c section. The plan was for the last week of May but Dr. Westmoreland is out of town so she pushed it back to June 1 which is 3 days before my due date.
So far I've had a great pregnancy. I really haven't had any complaints lately. I've been taking my extra iron, been getting my daily walking in and staying active, and I've only gained 15 lbs since my initial Dr's appt when I was 9 weeks! Philip has still been moving like crazy, still mostly at night. He's got his movements down like clockwork. I pretty much know when I'm about to be kicked lol :-)
So today I washed all his baby clothes, cleaned out more of his closet which had a lot of my craft stuff, and cleaned the cushions on the glider. They turned out perfect so I figured I'd sit here and enjoy it and update the blog. I'm so anxious for him to be here and can't wait to bring him home and rock him! This pregnancy is so bittersweet because it's my last one. I'm enjoying every minute of it and will be enjoying every minute of Philip when he gets here because I know how fast they grow. He will be my last baby.
My big girl Haley is still tickled about her little brother and she's been talking more and more to my belly. She got a peek of what Philip will look like at my 3d ultrasound last weekend, I was 28 weeks. It was pretty amazing seeing how adorable he looks, and he looks like he's got Haley's nose. Haley and I have been enjoying our spring break this week spending time with friends and doing some fun activities. Trey brought home "Franklin" the turtle yesterday that he found at his warehouse so we played with him for a bit in the front yard then found him a great home with other turtles at the library pond. Before that Haley and I went to the fire station and did a tour with friends. We both learned alot!
Trey cleaned his garage recently and got his man cave looking great so he's been in there alot lately just tinkering with gun stuff. He did come inside today and Haley gave him a manicure and painted his nails with her piggy paint nail polish. She is still a daddy's girl for sure!
Here's a few pictures of the ultrasound and what we've been up to lately. Will update again soon!
