The Countdown Begins!

The countdown begins… 37 more days until our little bug turns ONE! Last week I bought a Cricut Expression machine and I just got it in yesterday. The whole reason for getting one is so I can make all of Haley’s birthday decorations. Yes… I do realize she will not remember her first birthday or how it looked, but it makes me so happy to be able to look back one day and tell her “Mommy made all these decorations for your first birthday… Daddy helped with gluing… and it turned out beautiful”! Here is a sneak peek :)

I made this all with 12x12 scrapbook paper! Including the ladybug!  It was completely made from scratch!

I just got her birthday invitations printed this weekend, I received the envelopes I ordered for them so they will be going out tomorrow!

So as most of you know... Haley is sick. Poor baby:(  She has been running a low grade fever, had a really bad diaper rash, runny nose, and has been doing a lot of coughing!  I took her to the doctor and she has a sinus infection.  We got a prescription for Amoxicillian and she is already feeling better!  She now weighs 20 lbs 6oz. 

Haley is still crawling around getting into everything...no teeth yet... and she is now walking when you hold her hands!!  It is so amazing how fast they grow and learn how to do things.  Speaking of learning how to do things... she just figured out tonight that she can crawl and stand in the bathtub. I'm not liking that too much!  It makes it very difficult to give her a bath so I keep my handy dandy assistant in the bathroom with me... Daddy!  I don't know what I would do without him!

That is all the updating I have for now!  We just gave Haley a bath and put her down for bed.  Now I'm going to relax.  Stay tuned for more updates :) Bye for now!
