Today I went in for my 36 week appointment! I'll be going to the Dr weekly beginning this week. Haley came with me after I picked her up from school and she had me cracking up! Every time I go in for an appt I have to leave a urine sample. Haley had to use the potty first so I grabbed my cup and started to write my name on it for when it's my turn to go. She saw the cups and said "mommy, where do you get the drinks?" Lol!!! I told her that mommy has to pee pee in that cup and leave it for the nurse. She said "do I have to do that too?" She says the funniest things sometimes.
After that I got on the scale and was nervous to see if I had gained any weight since my last visit 2 weeks ago. I weighed exactly the same as last time! Woohoo! Blood pressure was great and so was baby's heart beat. Dr. Westmoreland felt my stomach and said he is head down and facing towards the left and the way he is measuring tells her he approximately weighs 6.5 lbs and by delivery time will weigh about 8 lbs give or take.
So 3 weeks and 5 days until my scheduled c-section on June 1st!! I'm getting so excited!! I packed my hospital bag and I'm feeling ready. I've been so blessed to have such an easy pregnancy this time around without any complications. Only complaint I have is my back hurts occasionally but not that often and I can normally find a different way to sit and it stops, and I've had a couple rough nights where I just can't sleep. One leg sometimes gets restless and I can be exhausted all day and when it's time for bed I'm wide awake. Last night was one of those kind of nights. I was up at 2am plucking my eyebrows because I couldn't sleep! Other than that it's been so great and I'm kinda sad that this is the last time I will feel that amazing feeling of having a living human being in my womb and being able to feel his kicks, rolls and his other crazy moves he does.
